In 2006, Nouvelle Vague released their second album, Bande à Part, which followed the same formula as the first one, but with more diverse song choices and singers. The album included covers of songs by Billy Idol, Blondie, Bauhaus, New Order, and more. The album also received positive reviews and sold well internationally. The album's artwork featured a collage of vintage magazine covers with the band's name cut out by hand.
In 2020, Nouvelle Vague celebrated their 20th anniversary with a special edition of their debut album, titled Nouvelle Vague 20. The edition included remastered versions of the original tracks, as well as four bonus tracks: covers of songs by The Smiths, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Echo & the Bunnymen, and The Undertones. The edition also featured a new artwork, inspired by the original one, but with a modern twist.
